Watchmaker at the bench

Maison & Régent was founded on a single quiet conviction: that the secondary market for fine objects had grown loud, and that buyers of meaningful watches and leather houses deserved a room that was not. We do not list. We do not flip. We curate, slowly, and we sell only what we ourselves have held under a loupe.

Every timepiece passes through the hands of two independent watchmakers — one in Geneva, one in Brooklyn — before it enters the cabinet. Movements are timed on a Witschi, water-resistance is pressure-checked, and the bracelet is weighed against original spec. Only then is the piece photographed and offered.

Our leather house — bags from Hermès, Chanel, Dior, Vuitton — follows the same discipline. We grade by stitch count, hardware patina, and corner wear, and we publish the grade beside the photograph. No piece is forgiven a flaw it does not have.

01 — Authentication

Two benches, one verdict.

Every watch is inspected by an independent watchmaker in Geneva and a second in Brooklyn. Movements are timed, gaskets pressure-tested, and serials matched against manufacturer archives.

02 — Shipping

Bonded courier, fully insured.

Pieces are dispatched in archival packaging via bonded courier with signature-on-delivery and full transit insurance to the declared value. Verification call placed for pieces above the threshold.

03 — Concierge

A correspondent, not a chatbot.

You are paired with a single client liaison from first enquiry through delivery and beyond. They know the cabinet, they know the bench, and they answer by name.
